🎵 Supported Audio Formats

WALTR PRO supports most popular music and audio formats, including lossless and compressed files.

Supported audio formats (go to the Music app):

  • MP3

  • M4A / AAC

  • WAV

  • ALAC

  • FLAC (automatically converted to ALAC)

  • OGG (converted to supported format)

  • WMA (converted)

Special formats:

  • M4B → Goes to the Books app (treated as an audiobook)

  • M4R → Goes to Ringtone settings (custom iPhone ringtones)

🎥 Supported Video Formats

WALTR PRO can transfer and convert most video formats — they appear in your TV app.

Supported video formats (go to the TV app):

  • MP4

  • M4V

  • MOV

  • MKV (converted automatically)

  • AVI (converted)

  • WMV (converted)

  • FLV (converted)

  • 3GP (converted)

  • TS / MTS (converted from camcorder formats)

⚠️ All non-MP4/MOV formats are automatically converted to iOS-compatible video files.

📚 Supported Book & Document Formats

WALTR PRO also supports basic ebook and PDF formats.

Supported formats (go to the Books app):

  • EPUB

  • PDF

Just drag and drop your books or PDFs — they’ll appear in the Apple Books app after transfer.

🧠 How It Works

You don’t need to manually convert anything — just drag your files into WALTR PRO.
The app will:

  • Convert the file if needed

  • Keep metadata like song title, artist, and album cover

  • Send it to the correct app (Music, TV, Books, etc.)

No iTunes, no third-party players — everything stays native.

❓ FAQ

Can I transfer unsupported formats?
If you try to transfer an unknown file type, WALTR PRO will attempt to convert it. If it’s not compatible, you’ll get a message inside the app.

Does this work over Wi-Fi too?
Yes, all file formats can be transferred wirelessly — but for larger files (like HD videos or FLAC albums), we recommend using a USB cable for speed and stability.

What about voice memos?
If they’re saved in MP3, M4A, or another supported format, yes — you can transfer them and they’ll appear in the Music app.
