How to change file name and extension on Mac?

You can change the file name and extension via the info panel. It is super easy, let us show you.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Right-click on the item, select Get Info. 

2. In the middle of the new window, a new field Name & Extension will appear. 

3. Change the extension there.
